Josh K. Smith

Josh is a member of the firm’s litigation team and handles cases, both large and small, with the same determined advocacy. Josh’s focus at all times is on achieving the best resolution for his clients, whether in court or through aggressive settlement efforts. Josh realizes that litigation can be a daunting proposition and his goal is always to provide practical guidance and counsel, in addition to legal expertise, so that he can work with clients to navigate their dispute effectively and achieve the best outcome possible.

Josh has substantial experience and extensive knowledge, and has litigated and resolved disputes, in a variety of areas, specifically including employment law, construction, and real property related cases.

Josh was born and raised in the Willamette Valley and takes pride in being a native son and playing an active role in his community. He is a past president of the Greenhill Humane Society Board of Directors and also enjoys coaching youth sports. Josh was selected as one of Eugene’s 20 under 40 Rising Business Stars and is active in the Eugene Area Chamber of Commerce.

Josh earned his undergraduate degree at Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo, California and returned to Oregon to earn his law degree from the University of Oregon. Josh enjoys staying active and continues to ski, golf, and play soccer. Most of all, he loves playing sports with his son.
