Cassie K. Jones

Cassie is a member of the firm’s litigation practice group and has extensive experience negotiating, litigating, arbitrating, and mediating complex commercial cases.  Cassie has a well-earned reputation for being a strong advocate for her clients. She prides herself on being responsive, practical, and thorough; traits that make a big difference to her clients while maneuvering the litigation process.

In addition to general business litigation, Cassie leads the firm’s creditors’ rights practice, representing lenders and creditors throughout the country relating to their Oregon and Washington based loans.  In the bankruptcy arena, Cassie represents both creditors and creditors’ committees in complex Chapter 11 bankruptcy cases, trustees in Chapter 7 cases, and secured and unsecured creditors in all chapters of bankruptcy.

Cassie is proud to be a life-long Oregonian.  She was born in Lebanon, received her undergraduate degree at Oregon State University, and earned her law degree from the University of Oregon. Cassie is very active in the Eugene community.  She currently serves as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) for local children placed in the foster care system and on the Board of Directors for the Boys & Girls Club of Emerald Valley.

When Cassie is away from the office, she enjoys traveling, attending Oregon State Beaver football, basketball and baseball games, hiking, reading, movies, and tasting Oregon’s fantastic microbrews and wines.
