John P. Caffarelli

John is an attorney in the firm’s trust and estates practice. John’s legal practice focuses on estate planning, estate transfer tax, and probate and trust administration. John is thoughtful and diligent in his work creating individualized estate plans that meet clients’ specific needs and guiding families through the probate and estate administration process after the death of a loved one.

John grew up in the suburbs of Chicago, Illinois and is a Midwesterner at heart. He received his undergraduate degree in environmental science at the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, Indiana. John pursued a legal education at the University of Oregon, where his studies focused on estate planning, corporate, and natural resources law. John is a passionate husband and father, and in his free time he enjoys hunting, fishing, hiking, cycling, reading, and following Notre Dame and Oregon football.
