Frederick (“Fritz”) Batson is a respected business litigator with over 35 years of experience. He is listed in several categories in Best Lawyers in America, including commercial litigation and construction litigation. He is now of counsel to the firm and is acting as an arbitrator and mediator.

Fritz’s litigation practice included representing clients on a variety of business matters and disputes. He has represented businesses and individuals in disputes involving all types of business contracts and disputes, construction claims and disputes, land use issues, warranty claims, trademark infringement claims, internal company ownership disputes along with some employment cases and copyright and trade secret cases.  He has represented individuals, small business and large companies both as plaintiffs and defendants.

Fritz has lived in Eugene for over 30 years. He enjoys a variety of outdoor activities, including diving in the warm waters of the Oregon, Washington, and British Columbia coasts, biking, hiking, and volunteering as a diver at the Oregon Coast Aquarium.
